Welcome to the European Christian Mission (ECM)
ECM is an international, interdenominational mission that seeks to plant and support local churches throughout Europe. The work began with a focus on Europe in 1904 and that continent continues to be the priority. ECM partners with missionaries, churches and individuals who are spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ throughout the nations of this continent. It is a huge task, but one that we believe is vital, exciting and unavoidable.
Our priority is to establish new churches in Europe, working in partnership with local evangelical organisations. Our desire is to see new churches established where none currently exist and to encourage them to reproduce contextually appropriate communities of faith that witness to Jesus Christ, embody the gospel and act as an agent of change in society. With this desire in mind we have been active in evangelism, disciple making, integral ministries and training of leaders, always looking for creative and innovative ways to adapt to the local culture and the ever changing society.
As we are truly international, our home offices are based in different countries in and outside Europe. We currently work with over 150 missionaries in 17 European countries.
